NerdLacquer Purely Logical

All Star Trek fans know about Spock’s eyeshadow, but did you know he has nail varnish as well? NerdLacquer is a brand available via etsy that consists solely of custom blends inspired by science and SF. Now, I’m not often one for glitter polishes (and all NL polishes are packed with glitter) but the lure of nerdiness is sometimes too strong to resist!
Purely Logical is from the Where No Lacquer Has Gone Before collection, inspired by Star Trek, and this particular varnish is Vulcan-inspired. The green base is reminiscent of Vulcan blood (green) and the copper hexagons are clearly a reference to the fact that said blood is copper-based. There’s also smaller glitter in a variety of shades and turquoise hexagons. Just as advertised, this polish is opaque in two coats, and though I haven’t had a chance to layer it yet, it looks as if one coat over another colour would be sheer enough to make things really pop. It’s also delightfully smooth with a top coat despite being crammed to bursting with glitter!
