17 Fury

This is a lovely (though, again, subtle) gold-green metallic duochrome which only needs two coats. It’s also pretty good about brushstrokes, unusually for a metallic. I thought it might be similar to Models Own Copper Pot, but this is far more of a gold than a copper-orange. I don’t want to describe it as “good and nice” because it makes me sound like a children’s book, but this polish is SO good and SO nice.

17 Forever
Butter London Tart With A Heart

Forever is a basic-but-super-glossy beige creme. It’s another two-coater, which makes it fantastic for everyday wear since it’s a doddle to apply. I’m not often one for basic varnishes so I spiced it up a bit with a coat of Tart With A Heart on my ring fingers.

17 Sulk

So it isn’t the most original colour but the name is fantastic! Sulk is am almost teal (but not quite, to my eyes) blue-toned green shimmer. The formula was absolutely lovely to apply and it only needed two coats.

17 Glisten

I hate the name but I LOVE the colour! Glisten is a very subtle duochrome, though I’m not sure how to describe the base colour - sort of a golden peach? It’s extremely pretty, though. I thought it’d be quite a sheer varnish, but it really wasn’t. I only needed two coats for full opacity, which is always a lovely thing to discover.

17 Pink Lemonade

I’ve probably said many a time here that I am not A Pink Person, but Pink Lemonade was too cute for me to resist, particularly as the name is so spot-on for the colour and finish of the polish. It wasn’t quite opaque with three coats, as you’d expect from a jelly, but close enough. I also found it to be surprisingly flattering on my hands and I suspect it would do the same for a lot of other skintones.

17 Revenge

I bought this at least in part because of the name (because, yeah, I love that show), but I also think it’s a really interesting colour! Revenge is a deep, murky purple with subtle pink shimmer. The shimmer is more obvious in the bottle, as I find is often the case, though here there’s also plenty of it visible on the nail - particularly in bright sunlight! Two coats.

OPI Red Lights Ahead…Where?

As I slowly accustom myself to wearing red after a lifetime of avoiding it wherever possible, I’m always surprised when I like one as much as I do this polish, especially considering how bright it is. It pulls a little more orange in photos than it does in real life, though it looks just as neon. I used two coats and it was perfect, with a great formula.

OPI Wooden Shoe Like To Know?

I thought at first that this might be a dupe of one of the Cult Nails Get Nekkid collection, and while I was wrong about that, it would definitely fit right in with them, even if Wooden Shoe is slightly less sparkly. The formula was nice and thick, but easy to apply. I only needed two coats here.

OPI I Don’t Give A Rotterdam!

This may be a long-term favourite in the making. Rotterdam is a pale blue denim colour, with silver and a few black flecks running through it. The effect is almost like a bird’s egg; I really like it. Three coats used here for best opacity, though I think you could get away with two if you apply them a little thicker than I do.

OPI Pedal Faster Suzi!
11/03/12

I keep accidentally calling this Petal Faster, thanks to the flowery pink colour. And as far as pinks go, this isn’t a bad one. It’s quite soft and babyish, but the silver shimmer gives it a frosty appearance that I like. It gives very good coverage with each coat, but I used three just to make sure I wouldn’t get any VNL.
