Layla CE-52 (The Butterfly Effect)

I went a bit overboard on Ninja Polish a few weeks back and picked out a bunch of flakies, since it’s been far too long since I’ve bought or worn any! I’ve never tried Layla before and I was pretty impressed by CE-52. It has many, many colour-shifting flakies in a purple jelly base. There’s also a scattering of small glitter particles in there, which are so subtle you can only see them up close. I used three coats here for full opacity and had no problems with application, though I got tipwear quite early on and chipping by the third day of wear. It may also be worth noting that the varnish has a slight unpleasant smell to it, but it isn’t overwhelming and goes away once it’s dry. Overall, this is a beautiful polish and I loved wearing it!
