Butter London British Racing Green
Oh, I was so disappointed by this polish. I can only assume I got a duff bottle of it because I’ve never ever had the kind of difficulties I had here with a Butter London polish before. Though the colour is lovely - British Racing Green is traditionally a rich medium green with shimmer, and Butter captured it perfectly here - the formula was far thinner than I expected and flooded my cuticles on multiple nails, which wasn’t helped by an unevenly cut brush. I actually had to redo several nails, something that almost never happens these days unless I’ve mashed my fingers into the edge of my desk or similar. It was also incredibly streaky on the first coat, though thankfully the second coat fixed it. I was worried it wouldn’t given all the other troubles BRG gave me.
One bad bottle won’t kill my love for the brand, but oh, how I hope it IS just one bad bottle and not a worrying sign.
