Cirque Tibetan Nights
I am a total Cirque convert after only my second polish. Tibetan Nights is a mid-blue jelly with silver and blue bar and regular glitter and it’s just lovely. I got a little bit of pulling at the cuticle after the first coat, but that evens out after the second. I used three coats altogether for these pictures and had no VNL whatsoever. The really interesting thing about Tibetan Nights is the finish. It doesn’t dry glossy the way a jelly normally would. Instead, it had a rubbery finish similar to Illamasqua’s Theatre of the Nameless varnishes. Unfortunately, because of the glitter, I felt like I had to put topcoat on (also to prolong the wear - it’s just so pretty!). If you’re less bothered by that, it’s definitely wearable and cool-looking without.
It’s a bit of a topcoat eater thanks to that glitter. I took these photos the morning after application and you can see a little bumpiness in the polish already from where it sucked up the topcoat overnight. I wouldn’t have thought it had enough glitter in it for the dramatic eating it did, but there you go!
