Cult Nails Evil Queen
Could this be the perfect red cream? For someone who didn’t much like reds until a year ago, I may not be the best person to judge, but it’s certainly up there. The formula is smooth and easily applied, though it is one of those secret-jelly reds that appears perfectly opaque after two coats in some lights, and shows off masses of VNL in others. It flowed onto my nails and self-levelled with no problems at all. Frankly, unless you want it to extend wear time, I don’t think you even need a top coat with Evil Queen at all. It’s superbly glossy.
I recently picked up several Models Own nail art pens and I thought it’d be cute to put black polka dots on as an accent nail. Unfortunately, I neglected to take into account exactly how long the dots would take to dry. I waited at least twenty minutes, but it wasn’t long enough. You can see the little streaks coming off a few of them from where I put top coat over them too soon.
